Heather McCaslin, CTR, RHIT, has worked in the cancer registry industry for over 15 years. She felt a calling to become a CTR after her grandfather was diagnosed with bladder cancer. When she learned about her grandfather’s diagnosis, Heather knew she wanted to work in a career where she could make a difference in preventing and treating cancer.

During her free time, Heather enjoys traveling with her family, riding bikes in the park, walking on her local nature trails and traveling.
She presently resides in southeast Louisiana with her husband of 20 years, Scott, their daughter, Lillian, and the family's pet cat, Lulu.
She is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves Vietnamese, Japanese and locally caught seafood.
When it comes to music, Heather loves the sounds of the 1990s!
Her favorite book is “Sweet Magnolias,” which is also now a Netflix television series.
The number one item on her bucket list is to travel to Hawaii for vacation.
