Meet January’s Registry Rock Star: Karen Mordarski
Cancer Registry Fact: CTR is the credential that signifies professional excellence in the cancer registry field.
This month’s Registry Rock Star is Karen Mordarski, RHIT, CTR and cancer information specialist for CHAMPS Oncology.
Karen Mordarski has been working in the cancer registry industry for 15 years. Her favorite part of being a registrar is establishing a trusting and valued relationship with her client’s cancer care team. Most importantly, she enjoys delivering accurate, quality data studies that are meaningful to physicians and help provide the highest quality of care to cancer patients.
Fun Facts About Karen Mordarski

If she won the lottery, she would pay her daughter’s student loans and buy her a car to help her get started on the next phase of her life. She would also buy herself an Audi sports car and a summer home in the Cayman Islands to enjoy the tropical life!
