Cancer Registry Fact: Cancer registries help target action so public health programs can figure out the success of cancer interventions and do more of what works.

Linda has worked in the cancer registry industry for nearly 21 years. She decided to become a CTR when she was working as a nurse in Radiation Oncology and felt she needed a change. The registry seemed to be a good fit as she could apply the knowledge she had gained working as a nurse in the cancer field.

  • During her free time, Linda enjoys reading, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and volunteering at her church.
  • Her hometown is Quincy, Illinois.
  • The number one item on her bucket list is to travel to Alaska. Alaska is her last state to visit.
  • The Beatles are her favorite rock ‘n’ roll stars followed by the Beach Boys, Eagles, Queen and many more!
