Client Relationship Director, CHAMPS Oncology


Joseph Castellano is the client relationship director for CHAMPS Oncology. In his role, Castellano strategically partners with leadership to identify new business, grow existing business and foster relationships with hospital administrators and stakeholders to effectively leverage the full range of cancer registry services offered by CHAMPS Oncology. He also serves as a point-of-contact for CHAMPS contracts and assists subject matter experts with ensuring customer requests are satisfied and routed to the appropriate internal staff. In addition, Castellano works closely with clients on data requests and analysis using CHAMPS’ cloud-based analytics system, insight2oncology®, to reveal insightful metrics that support the client’s strategic initiatives. 

Castellano has more than a decade of experience managing clients and working with a wide variety of external and internal stakeholders. His experience in arts management provided him opportunities to work with a diverse group of personalities and positions. He also has several years of fundraising experience which enhanced his knowledge of cultivating personal and consistent interaction with high-profile investors. His past roles have educated him in servant leadership and building long-term relationships.

Castellano attended Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. He enjoys planning and executing large scale events and takes pride in his knowledge of effective budgeting to maximum effect.
