CHAMPS Oncology Launches Pinterest Campaign



CHAMPS Launches Healthcare-Centered Pinterest PageOn Wednesday, Aug. 1, CHAMPS Oncology launched a Pinterest campaign to spread the word about the valuable industry content available through their account. Pinterest is a bulletin board style website that allows users to share, collect and organize images, resources, educational information and other media content by “pinning” them on various themed boards.

Lori Adams, RHIT, CTR, cancer information specialist for CHAMPS Oncology, manages and pins to CHAMPS Oncology’s Pinterest account, which focuses on the cancer registry industry. The 74 boards allow you to search the latest news on cancer, cancer statistics, outreach programs, complying with the current standards and more.

“CHAMPS Oncology’s Pinterest boards provide valuable resources all in one place,” said Adams. “Explore the complex world of cancer research, find organizations helping cancer patients, learn about the benefits of patient navigation and survivorship, or understand breakthroughs in cancer treatment all at your fingertips.”

During the campaign, all of CHAMPS Oncology’s existing and new Pinterest followers will be entered to win a $50 Etsy gift card. The random, lucky winner will be announced on Monday, Oct. 1.

Over the course of the eight-week Pinterest campaign, followers can receive up to two additional entries by:

  • Retweeting one of CHAMPS Oncology’s Pinterest tweets. (One additional entry)
  • Pinning an Oncology Outlook blog post. (One additional entry)
