CHAMPS and Secure Document Alliance Announce Custom Contract for Hard Document Shredding



SDACHAMPS Group Purchasing and Secure Document Alliance (SDA) recently announced its three-year contract for hard document shredding, purge services and media drive destruction. This new custom contract is available to CHAMPS’ 7,000+ member locations nationwide until July 31, 2019. This includes healthcare and non-healthcare members of any size.

“Secure Document Alliance is a network of local service providers that can serve our members anywhere in the country,” said Jan Elder, director of contracting services, CHAMPS Group Purchasing. “Many CHAMPS members are SDA customers already and appreciate its commitment to security, green initiatives and social responsibility. Our new custom contract enhances the CHAMPS support services portfolio of GPO contracts.”

Some Secure Document Alliance contract benefits include:

  • Meeting strict industry standards for destroying confidential material according to federal, state and local regulations.
  • Following rigorous chain-of-custody handling confidential documents and providing a 100 percent auditable process.
  • Offering centralized customer service, billing and reporting.
  • Providing shredding options that allow each customer to select bin types and frequencies to best suit their needs.
  • Purging services for large clean-outs.
