PX Perspective Blog Posts Featured in Ragan's Health Care News Feed

Since its launch in February 2013 as an open forum on patient experience, the CHAMPS Patient Experience blog PX Perspective has featured nearly 50 posts from the CHAMPS team and guest bloggers. This week, two PX Perspective blog posts by Carol Santalucia were featured in Ragan's Health Care News Feed.

On Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 the news feed led with Santalucia's August 2013 post on what it takes to be an extraordinary nurse. "An extraordinary nurse looks at their role as one who helps reduce anxiety by creating emotional connections with patients and their loved ones," wrote Santalucia.

Ragan's lead story for Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 was Santalucia's July 2013 advice for hospital service recovery programs regarding the gift of apology. "So what do patients really want? To be heard. They want someone to take their concerns seriously and they want a sincere apology," offered Santalucia.

Both PX Perspective blog posts can be viewed on the Ragan's Healthcare Communication News homepage.
